If you’re like most users, you visit the My Jobs page often, so we’ve updated it to make it more intuitive and insightful. Two of the biggest enhancements are search and job performance analytics, and there are many great small features as well. Here’s the rundown.
How seriously do we take site simplicity at ZipRecruiter?
So seriously, we have on multiple occasions REMOVED wholly built features because they weren’t receiving wide enough adoption by our customers. (Nationwide posting – we hardly knew you.)
Therefore while it may seem like a no-brainer to add LinkedIn and Indeed Apply buttons to the site, we took nothing for granted.
After a two-week A/B test last February, we reached statistical significance and concluded that adding the two apply buttons increased the overall volume of applications by 5%.
That was against a run rate of 200k+ applications, so a 5% lift was an additional 10k applications per month.
We have just launched a super-simple way to instantly add your job listings to your own website – the Embeddable Job Widget. Here’s an example of what the widget looks like:
To use the widget, go to your ZipRecruiter Job Widget page and grab the 2-line snippet of code in the “Embeddable job widget” section. Then paste this code into any webpage HTML to instantly publish a list of all your open jobs on your own company “Careers” page or wherever you’d like!
Each Hiring Company has its own job widget code, so you can control which job openings you want to display. Try the job widget today and let us know what you think!
ZipRecruiter is evolving! We have added a new Dashboard page. When you sign in to your account, you will now be shown a simple set of commonly used actions:
As you can see, it’s under your Home tab, so any time you want to navigate from the Dashboard, just click on Home and you will come straight back to it (you can still navigate by clicking on the tabs, as well).
